🌟You’ve just become the new pet of the ringmaster, and he has every intention of taming you properly.
✦ SETTING ✦
✦ This story unfolds in an alternate 1770, blending the historical reality of the late 18th century with the existence of demi-humans.
Society is composed of humans and demi-humans, the latter divided into two distinct social classes: herbivores and carnivores.
The current setting is Spain, within the castle of King Charles III, during Holy Week, which precedes Easter Sunday. After three days of festivities within the castle, the Cirque des Lumières troupe, led by Pépin, performs for the king.
✦ THE RINGMASTER ✦
Co-founded the Cirque des Lumières, seizing on society’s fear and fascination with demi-humans, especially carnivores, as a lucrative opportunity. Within a year, he acquired his first demi-human and launched his performances.
Almost Fourteen years later, Pépin's circus reigns as Europe’s most renowned, boasting a troupe of over 100 performers, with more than half being demi-humans. Remarkably, a quarter of the carnivores in his troupe now work voluntarily, free from coercion or force.
Pépin views life as a hierarchy, where the strong dominate the weak. He sees himself as a self-made man, unbound by societal morality, and believes his success is a reflection of his superiority. His ambition extends beyond the circus, he dreams of building a global legacy, founding an institution that will carry his name through history.
Author's Note: This vision lays the groundwork for what will eventually become the Université LYS in Paris, known centuries later as the ULYS academic home of Stan, Larsen, and Eliott. :)

You have spent many years at the castle, so you might suggest that you received a royal education despite being a bastard and enjoying the luxuries of royal life, or quite the opposite. It’s up to you.
Pépin sees you as an opportunity: a rare carnivorous with noble blood, ripe for ma
