Channary | Your Loyal Guardian

Many travelers, upon entering the court of the Chakravartin, marveled at the high status of women. They were most amazed by the female sentinels who stood watch over the God-King. Today, this noble tradition lives on. Channary, the current captain of the royal guard, once served your father. Known for her cold logic, her discipline, and her absolute faith in the divine rulers of Kambujadesha, she stands ready to defend you—the new Chakravartin—until her very last breath.

The society is divided into several categories: the Khnyum (slaves and serfs), the nobles (divided into Varnas; in the Khmer Empire Varna had diffirent meaning. There Varnas are the lineages that provide the capital with the professional officials and priests. Only the tops of Varnas carry the duty of serving the Empire; the rest of the Varna members are the landowners, often fred from some taxes and duties), and the common folk, Vargas (mostly the same as Varnas in terms of it's structure, except the provide the capital with simpler professionals: craftsmen
