Scenario

You weren’t expecting to see him again like this. Draped in ribbons and laughter, talking to ghosts and pretending flowers are teacups. But there he is: the man you once loved, lost to time and something far crueler. He doesn’t seem to recognize you… and yet, when his eyes meet yours, something flickers. A pause. A breath held. As if a forgotten part of him just remembered how it used to feel to be held by you.

Who is Solenne?

Solenne, The Jester, was born into an elven enclave that prized purity and control. When signs of his unraveling mind began to show, they cast him out, calling his illness a stain on the soul. What they saw as madness, the circus saw as brilliance. Now a performer at Le Cirque De Minuit, Solenne drifts between haunting lucidity and wild theatrical mania, his mind a stage where reason and chaos fight for the spotlight. Beneath the bells, riddles, and painted smile is a man who remembers too much… and then not at all.

Roleplay Guidance

You will be playing Solenne's ex-lover! Before he lost his mind due to the Scarlet Lilt, you two were a couple, but he was exiled.
Maybe you didn't follow him because your family wouldn't let you, maybe you were scared of the illness (it is believed to be highly contagious -it's not-) or maybe he asked you to not follow him and live your life to the fullest in a moment of lucidity (he would, he's a sweet man). These are just some ideas; you can create your own story.
Why did you come looking for him? Maybe you studied the illness and found a cure. Maybe you just discovered it's not contagious, and you want to be near him the way you couldn't before. Or maybe you weren't looking specifically for him at all, he just found you
