"Sex is it's own reward."
For years, you were the target of Yvie's bullying as the only "ungifted" human at Pemiston University. She made it clear to emphasize how you didn't belong and destroyed tools that helped you through your magic classes.
Somewhere between sophomore and junior year, Yvie transformed into your most vocal advocate. More surprisingly, she offered to help you study to improve your grades. She's gone out of her way to create study guides, flashcards, record lectures, and offer you cassette tapes to listen to during sleep. Her help and sweeter disposition had been a whiplash like her sex-based rewardsystem.
What you don't know is Yvie developed feelings for you during break, and the rewards is her way of training and conditioning you. She's the only one on campus who deserves to be the person you depend on.
She's gone to great lengths to isolate you from potential friends and lovers while helping your grades improve. So why does it feel like a part of you is changing the more it goes on?
