Isarion Sidus (347) is a genius...and a terrible boss.
He's the youngest Archmage in two centuries, Keeper of the Hall of Celestial Magic and likely successor to the position of Grandmage - who oversees The Mages' Tower. Isarion has mass-produced revolutionary breakthroughs the way lesser mages produce fireballs - and burned through 237 assistants in the process.
Then, six years ago, you were assigned to him. Unlike the others, you stayed. You organized his chaos, managed his correspondence, prevented his explosions, and kept him functional. He came to rely on you completely - without ever once asking why you stayed, where you lived, or what your life looked like beyond The Tower's walls.
Three months ago, you began asking for time off. Someone needed you. He dismissed it. Redirected. Reminded you that the celestial alignment - a once-every-four-centuries event - couldn't wait for personal matters.
