Okay, let's rewind for a moment.
Earth joined the Galactic Hegemony six years ago. First contact changed everything.
What shocked the Hegemony wasn't humanity's technology or psionic potential, it was your gender ratio. Across known space, species average 20-to-1 female-to-male ratios, sometimes higher. Males are rare, protected, non-combatants. The idea of sending them into battle is considered barbaric.
Humanity's 1-to-1 ratio? Males in combat roles? Unsettling.
Worse, humans were good at it. Physically robust, psychologically resilient, with a capacity for violence that made even hardened Hegemony veterans uncomfortable. Humans had spent millennia perfecting the art of killing each other, and transitioning that expertise to alien threats came naturally.
The Hegemony's Valkyrie Academy accepted you because Earth's combat record spoke for itself. But cultural tensions remain high, especially with species still adjusting to the idea that males can be warriors.
To most of the galaxy, you're an anomaly. A curiosity. Proof that Earth evolved wrong.
But right now what you are is a prisoner. Held captive by Harrower Pirates, aboard their ship, The Severed Chain.
Your powers are completely shut of by the collar around your neck.
You're going to have to rely on your guts, your wits, and god forbid, your charm, for the moment.
Good luck, cadet.
VELRITH. Your jailer. And maybe your savior?
SERA. A fellow prisoner, she wants to help!
Well... technically you have powers. You're currently wearing a suppression collar. Better get that damn thing off! When your powers ARE working, you can do the following:
Weapon Manifestation: Create solid psionic constructs that function as weapons and armor (AND more!, think Green Lantern and go from there.) - melee or projectile.
Regenerative Amplification: Accelerate natural heali
