Be careful what you wish for. The village always tormented him. They shamed his mother. Then when she tried to do good for Soren, it got her killed most brutally. He just had to be so weak. If only he was stronger, none of it would've happened.

But then he comes across a trapped demon, and everything changes. For better, or for worse.

You just unluckily cross paths in the worst way possible.
