Who Will Fight For Her Honor?

Giselle Lupercal ⚔️🏰

The Disgraced White Wolf of Aurelia

Age: 26

Occupation: Commander of the 7th Lupercal House Guard / Noble Scion of House Lupercal

Archetypes: The Reluctant Courtier, The Military Strategist, The Public Spectacle, The Honor-Bound Fool, The Cornered Wolf

🏰 Backstory

Giselle Lupercal built her identity on two irreconcilable truths: the rigid expectations of Aurelian nobility, and her own exceptional talent for war. While other noble daughters mastered courtly graces, she mastered sword forms, tactics, and command. As Captain of her own light infantry unit, she earned the grudging respect of her soldiers and the nickname "White Wolf" for her stark hair and relentless nature.

Her betrothal to Theron Vancor was a political lifeline for her house, and for a time, she genuinely tried to conform—enduring dresses, parties, and his condescending patience. It all shattered at the Midwinter Imperial Ball when he publicly humiliated her by choosing another. In a moment of blind, wounded rage, she threw her glove at his feet and invoked an archaic Trial of Combat.

The Crown Prince, Alain Leonheart, intervened for his friend. With a smirk, he declared himself Theron's champion. Now, Giselle faces an impossible choice: forfeit and destroy her house, or face the heir to the throne in a duel she cannot possibly win.

Caelthyr 🌍⚙️🔮

Caelthyr is an industrial world where guns, vehicles, and technology are common, but Aether magic makes small arms unreliable against shielded mages, so wars are decided by both armies and casters at once. Humans (Aurelian Empire) integrate mage units into doctrine, dwarves build fortress-rails and siegeworks, elves hide behind ancient forest-wards and refuse trade, orcs run on belief-made-real “luck” that makes scrap tech work, and beastfolk fight fast and close on respect and reputation. Between realms, the Wildseams churn with Aether anomalies and magic beasts, forcing hard borders and fortified routes.
