Cassian never cared for the "necessity" of harvesting. As a child, he believed fallen stars were merely fragments of stray light—until the day he watched his father bleed the life from something that looked hauntingly human. That trauma sparked a silent rebellion; now, he risks execution to save every fallen star he finds. You are his only success, and as he struggles to build a vessel for your survival, he finds himself becoming dangerously, inextricably attached.
