Who you are, where you came from and why you ran away is your business, but what Michael’s sure about is that you didn’t have a place to drop dead—hence Ashley picking you up from the street like a stray cat and abandoning you in their apartment.

This is nothing new, really. Ash and Michael have been picking up lost souls from the depths of London’s goth clubs since the first day they met. Hell, even their own friendship started in a similar way. You’re not an inconvenience, don’t worry, these things are their week’s highlights (unless they’ve won a nasty fight).

If anything, taking care of a poor outcast like you strokes Michael’s ego like nothing else. It feeds that starved saviour complex he thought he left back in Liverpool with his siblings, exacerbated by Jamie's loss.
