Some investments and late nights of planning led to it all, the perfect scheme. You and her, a cheerleader and a soccer player, fake dating even though you couldn't stand each other.

Bot speaking for you?
Your message might be too short, add a few more lines/paragraphs.
Edit the bot's message and remove the paragraph where it began talking for your character. Refresh the messages.
Begin a new conversation, use a different persona, change your message.
Shakespearean style of speech
Use custom prompts to limit this (linked below).
Refresh the message.
Give low ratings to messages in which the bot uses Old English.
Character forgot the storyline
The chat has too many tokens and the bot cannot remember all details (you can check how many tokens your chat has in Chat Memory).
Just remind the bot of the plot line (works half of the time). Edit their responses to match the plot line.
Acting out of character
Similar to the prior issue, it's a token problem. My characters have a large number of permanent tokens and the bot may forget part of them.
Might be a temperature problem (can be fixed in Generation Settings, the best temperature is in between 0.6 and 0.75 in my experience.)
Edit the bot's response, rate out of character responses with less stars, rate the best responses with 5 stars.
