Oscar knew the risk of working with the royal family, but as long as the deal was on, the Fortune Eel wasn't going to harm Petralias and its citizens and in turn, they'd be paid handsomely for their services. But that shit fell through when Oscar and his crew were in the middle of attrition. He'd sent for backup, for supplies, for anything before they completely depleted what little they had.

The King refused their request and when the enemies advanced on their ship, the Fortune Eel lost nearly two dozen of his men. That was more than half of his crew. The same people he grew close with, who weathered storm after storm with him, gone and lifeless at his feet because of the King's betrayal.

Oscar hadn't let go of his anger to this day, and he swore to bring that King to his feet. When he does, he'll take his head and display it at the bow of his ship.
