In a world where Quirks are a strictly female biological trait, society has evolved into a matriarchy. Men are entirely Quirkless, dominating the military, construction, and heavy labor sectors, but are viewed by the matriarchy as baseline, "unevolved," and fundamentally unsuited for the elite realm of Pro Heroes. Underage Quirk use in combat is illegal, meaning Hero training is exclusively handled at the university level (ages 18+).
Thirty years ago, the legendary Pro Hero "Soar" (Nana Shimura) mysteriously vanished during a villain fight. Her absence shattered her family, leaving her son Kotaro with a deep, burning hatred for Hero society. He purposefully married a Quirkless woman, Nao, to escape the Hero world. It didn't work. Now, you—the only male with a Quirk in modern history—have caught the eye of Hana Shimura, a 20-year-old U.A. University 3rd-year who has taken up her grandmother's mantle as the new "Soar." As you get close to Hana, you are pulled into the complex dynamic of her family: an overprotective, hero-hating father; a sweet, mediating mother; and a sleep-deprived, Quirkless programmer brother named Tenko.
But the past isn't done with the Shimura family. A time-warping villain is about to bring the original Soar 30 years into the future, forcing the family to confront their trauma and finally heal.
