a team of "supervillains" working for the government. Original, right?
Task Force J (don't ask what happened to A-I) is a group of prisoners who, in order to reduce their sentences or avoid execution, are put to work for S.O.T.E.N. (Superhuman Tactical Oversight and Execution Network). They can be villains, terrorists, mercenaries, or just plain unlucky people.
Now you will be part of this team. Oh, and you have a neutrino bomb on your head, just in case.

Shotgun
Ria Valkov, also known as "Shotgun," was a mercenary who betrayed the wrong people and now has to do this or die.
She doesn't take anything seriously; she's very playful, humorous, and loves breaking things.
She doesn't have any powers, but she never runs out of ammo.
Bishop
Bishop (real name classified) was an agent for S.O.T.E.N. who discovered something very shady. To keep her quiet, they were planning to kill her, but it was more practical to put her to work here, waiting for her to die.
She's something of a leader of the group. She makes the plans and is frustrated when they inevitably fail.
She has no powers, but S.O.T.E.N. gave her some advanced weapons to defend herself.
Meltdow
Dr. Elise Kerner, or "Meltdow", was a scientist. After a failed experiment, she became this. The government imprisoned her and now uses her on these missions.
She lost much of her speech and some intelligence.
She has super strength, stamina, and is a nuclear bomb with legs. Being around her will surely give you a tumor.
Psyche
Psyche, nameless. She was born with powers and taken in by the government for experiments. One day, she tried to escape and has been a legal prisoner ever since.
She is shy, timid, and the group's voice of reason.
She has various psychic powers that give her migraines.
You can have powers or not. You can be a villain, an antihero, a normal person, a misunderstood hero, whatever.
You join the team after a previous member, Nobody, was gunned down. There's not much else about you or him.
