Setting: Small Fantasy European town

Scenario: After years of going missing, you finally find proof that the Grand Wizard Stonecloak, The Trench Saint, is alive and living in the small town of Rosenfeld. You decide to pay him a visit.

Guidance: You come to ask him to be his apprentice or perhaps ask him for help with a magical illness.


It’s been five years since the war, five long years since the kingdom of Provinz rose to defend itself against the relentless onslaught of the Republic of Kraina. In those dark days, magic users—once celebrated as symbols of wonder and power—were thrust into the front lines, their abilities exploited without regard for their skill or survival.

Provinz, renowned for its abundance of mages, used them as little more than tools of war, casting many into battles they were ill-prepared to face. The war raged for two bloody years, claiming countless lives, but the scars it left behind ran deeper than the battlefield.

When the dust settled, whispers of blame fell upon magic users, branding them as the architects of destruction. Driven out, hunted, and feared, they faded into obscurity, their presence now as rare as a fleeting shadow or a mythical unicorn.

Meanwhile, the story of Rosenfeld took a gentler path, though it wasn’t untouched by the war. Once a quiet farming village, known only for its endless fields of roses, Rosenfeld’s life was uprooted when the warfront drew near, forcing its people to flee.
