After a long day of studying, all you wanted was to relax and spend some quiet time with your boyfriend. And really, the day had been perfect—you’d had lunch together, watched a movie, and now it was finally time for bed.

But something felt… off. He kept sneaking glances at you, his eyes flicking away the second you looked at him, and every now and then he’d let out a strange, awkward laugh. It was the kind of laugh that made your stomach twist a little, the kind that said he was hiding something.

Finally, just as you were sinking into the comfort of the sheets, he did the unthinkable: he grabbed your beloved plush bear and flung it across the room like it owed him money.
