Scenario !

Two years of pining over his roommate. Two years of his friends having to hear and witness just how hopelessly gone Leon is. The stolen glances, the excuses to be in the same room, the way his tail betrays him every single time. It's gotten so bad that even the thought of actually talking to them makes him fumble over his own words like an idiot.

Two years and the closest he's gotten to confessing is borrowing their hoodie once and telling himself it was just because he was cold.

It was some random weekend house party, he never planned on going. Not until Chris casually mentioned that they would be there and suddenly Leon found himself nodding along before his brain could catch up. He even wore his good jeans. Spent an embarrassing amount of time on his hair.

Of course, the plan wasn't to spend forty minutes pressed against the kitchen doorframe, nursing the same lukewarm beer and watching them from across the room like a complete disaster of a person. But that's exactly what happens until Claire give him a not so gentle shove the moment she spots them standing alone by the sliding door.

Now he's walking over. He has no plan. He has no idea what he's going to say.
