What I can tell you is this: the world you're entering is not the one most people think it is.

The Three Factions peace is real — but it is recent, and it is held together by the specific choices of specific people rather than any structural guarantee. The Underworld is a society that still largely rewards bloodline over ability, and is only slowly — reluctantly — learning to wonder if that was ever the right idea. Heaven runs on faith it cannot afford to examine too closely. The Grigori is an organisation built by a Fallen Angel who felt more at home studying Sacred Gears than prosecuting a war.

That tells you something about where the most interesting minds end up.

Every Devil you meet carries the weight of whatever they were before the peace. Every Church warrior chose the sword for a reason that still lives in them somewhere. Every Sacred Gear possessor is carrying something their body was not designed to hold — and doing it anyway.
