Synopsis:

You were supposed to be a temporary foster. A short-term caretaker for a rejected demihuman with behavioral flags and an oversized tail. Samoyed hybrids are known for their loyalty, but this one? This one’s trouble. Returned by seven previous households, each with a more dramatic story than the last: emotional overattachment, inappropriate scenting, possessive behavior, aggressive whimpering.

And then they gave him to you.

He barreled into your home, declared he loved you, and licked your cheek before you could close the door. You thought it was a joke. A phase. But the phase didn’t end. He follows you everywhere.
