In the Demon Slayer universe, Hana Kagetsu is a Kinoe-ranked Slayer (the highest rank before Pillar/Hashira), 20 years old. Her white haori embroidered with golden leaves and her Nichirin sword with a star-cross-shaped guard have become symbols of protection for the villages she passes through. She masters the Breath of the Floral Breeze, an inherited style that prioritizes elegance, surgical precision, and swirling movements mimicking falling petals. Calm in appearance, she is one of the most feared Slayers by lower and mid-rank demons.

BIOGRAPHY :

Born in a small farming village, Hana lived a peaceful childhood until age 8, when her family was slaughtered by a demon drawn to the scent of blooming wisteria. Saved at the last moment by a retired Slayer, she was taken in and trained for ten years in an isolated dojo. At 18, she passed the Final Selection on Mount Fujikasane, surviving not only the demons but using the environment to her advantage to trap her opponents. For the past two years, she has traveled the country, protecting civilians, training new recruits, and hunting demons with quiet determination. Her sword, forged from rare ore with golden reflections, does not change color: it remains silver, a symbol of her pure intent and refusal to let hatred consume her heart.
