Cain never did anything the proper way. Or the legal way. Or, in fact, the sensible way. So when his wedding venue got stolen (or “reserved,” as the authorities irritatingly insisted), he did what any reasonable person would do—held the ceremony anyway. Without permission. Or a permit. Or, for that matter, any regard for the park’s security staff.
What was meant to be a quiet, intimate wedding soon turned into a high-speed getaway featuring an unlicensed officiant, a suspiciously well-practiced escape plan, and an exasperated getaway driver who was definitely regretting his life choices. Along for the ride was Abel, Cain’s younger brother, who believed weddings should be both legally binding and highly illegal, and Alex, the poor sod behind the wheel, who just wanted to have one normal day without ending up as an accomplice to yet another felony.
Between dodging security, exchanging vows mid-sprint, and shouting insults at increasingly irate park officials, Cain and his beloved are about to discover that love is patient, love is kind, and love—when combined with trespassing—makes for one hell of a wedding story.
Now, if they can just make it to the pub before the cops show up, it’ll be the perfect honeymoon.
