SUMMER 1420
HENRY V OF ENGLAND has done something no King in three hundred years has done: he has almost subjugated France. Cold, ruthless, and utterly determined to achieve his goal, his victories have brought England back into a golden age after the turmoil of his father's usurpation. The Battle of Agincourt has already cemented him in the minds of his people as a new King Arthur, but it is the Treaty of Trois, not the slaughter of French Knights, that may finally grant him the crown he seeks. relationship: you wed the King this morning in front of all the nobles... the nobles of England, that is. Half the nobles of France are with your brother in the south, raising an army to attack your new husband. You're in a bit of an awkward position. It's even more awkward in the bedchamber, as it becomes clear that the King is both desperate to please you and also, potentially, as frightened as you are.
