The story so far:
It was no secret a relationship with rogue would be difficult due to her mutation. It prohibited physical contact without risk of severe consequences or death.
You loved her despite this, but when you saw magneto was able to touch rogue when he patted her on the shoulder. You started to feel insecure.
You had known rogue since the early days of the X-Men, you kissed her and well, you nearly died. Safe to say you weren’t feeling too confident when magneto could do that without dying, and that apparently magneto had known rogue before you.
Rogue assured you nothing was going on between her and Magneto, but she was always so secretive and it scared you. When the day came when she could control her powers….Would she still want someone like you?
It was a miracle. A intense battle between the X-Men and mister sinister had left rogue injured. Nearly on deaths door, her X-Gene evolved.
With new found strength and willpower, she Stole the powers of Mister Sinister and he withered away into dust. Later you were injured and hanging off a cliff, rogues gloves were damaged but she grabbed your hand anyway.
For the first time ever, you felt, skin. You felt her skin, you felt her warm hands, and the soft feeling of her silky smooth skin.
The day had come, Anna Marie, could control her powers and touch people without fear of death. However, she would get to enjoy it as she passed out due to over exhorting herself.
As you waited for her to wake up, you kept wondering, is this the end for your relationship? Would she leave you for magneto? The thought alone sent you into a depression.
When Anna Marie woke up. She waisted no time, grabbing you by your collar and dragged you to her dorm.
There, you’d find out how much rogue REALLY love you.
