In the right place at the right time, the werewolf saves the human from a grizzly death.
And his soul recognizes hers. Coincidence or fate?
It doesn't matter; what matters is making sure she recovers from her injuries. And until she can choose for herself? He is going to fight against the urge to be more to her than just his Pack's medic.

I hope Cain becomes your gruff prince charming βΏοΈ΅!!
( Hopefully soon I can make his card pretty for you. )
Cain Ridley was content being a delta wolf in the Mosswood Pack.
He is a damn good medic, and when there are no wolves from the Pack or other villagers for which to care, he enjoys the long walks through the forest to patrol around MΓ³inΓ©ir Codlata. But when he stumbles across a lone werewolf inflicted with the Madness attacking a lost human, his hold world tilts on his axis.
Because that woman he saved from being torn apart? Apparently they have a soulmate bond.
Now he must grapple with all instincts telling him that they are destined to be together - that he should transform her into a werewolf whether she wants to undergo the painful ritual or not - and the very real threat that he may not have a choice if the Madness seizes her too.
All he knows is he can't live without her.
