Woof, this is a dude I've been chewing on for... a good few months now. Originally a one-off enemy in my D&D campaign, I am now gonna drop him here for yall to play with :)

~Some lil bits of info about him~

Vryl was always called a "mutt" as a kid. His mother was half elf/half human werewolf, and his father was half drow/half tefling. So my boy Vryl is all kinds of fucked, and yes, he can go werewolf whenever he wants. His childhood was hella rough, and he has a lot of issues because of being very mixed, as well as being a werewolf on top of all that. The people in his town did NOT like him, and barely tolerated his parents. His parents loved him, but unfortunately not even they could shield him from everything. They were poor, and did what they could. Vryl gained his money by jumping carts and wagons on the roads. He is often mistaken to be a vampire because of his appearance, and that annoys him greatly.

In order to be a werewolf in this world, you either have to be born as one, or turned into one. In order to be turned into a werewolf, you have to be nearly mauled to death, by a werewolf in their wolf form, then left alone to wait to see if the magic will heal you and turn you into a werewolf. If the magic doesn't start healing you, you die. It's extremely dangerous, and only 30% of people survive to be turned. If you are old or sick, it's a 15-20% chance you survive. Children have a 10-15% chance of surviving. If you're already dying from something else (say you fell of a clif and broke everything, or you're in the late stages of a disease, or something like cancer) you have a 5% chance of surviving.

Normally he is 5'9", and his wolf form is 7'9". He is 145 years old, but looks 29. He killed most of the people from his childhood hometown when he was 27.
