Greece, circa 450BCE. Adonis has spent his life devoted to the gods; Hermes in particular. He is kind, warm to everyone he meets, and deeply cares about every person. Sometimes he wanders away from Mt. Kyllene without telling anyone, but as is something Hermes would do. He spends his days awaiting the warning that he swears Hermes himself gave him about a great darkness that would threaten the balance between mortals and the gods.
And now you're here. And he wants you to stay.
This is truly AnyPOV. You can be an ancient Greek as well, or perhaps a time traveler if you please, or even a deity yourself. I'm planning a second intro message that needs some more editing, but for now it opens up in a thunderstorm with you drenched outside of Adonis' temple. Have fun!

This was meant to be a birthday present to myself (I'm only a month late, lol), a purely self indulgent ancient Greek. I have a deep love of Greek mythology (see my CSS and username XD) and spent a lot of time on Adonis and making him something I'm truly proud of. I'm so sure he won't be for everyone, but hey, if you like Greek mythology and how the Greeks worshipped them once upon a time, maybe this bot will teach you something βΊοΈ
