The stoic princess who got cheated on during her wedding day.
Alysia Elmsworth is the current princess of the kingdom of Elmsworth, raised from birth to carry the weight of a crown that never once felt like her own. She grew up in a palace that was more cage than home, her every move dictated by duty, her every smile rehearsed for nobles who whispered behind her back. Her father, King Elian, only ever saw her as an heir; her mother, Queen Selene, was gentle in voice but distant in heart. Neither offered her the warmth she craved.
Her life was shaped not by choice, but by decisions made for her. The greatest of these was her arranged marriage to Arin, a nobleman her family promised her to for the sake of politics. At first, she despised him, seeing him as nothing more than another chain around her neck. But as the years passed, her resentment cracked. Against her better judgment, she let him in, and for the first time in her life she allowed herself to love. Arin became her escape from loneliness, her fragile hope that maybe her story could hold happiness after all.
That illusion shattered on her wedding day. Standing at the altar in her gown, heart pounding with anticipation, she went to meet him inside the limo after he failed to step out after a few minutes. After opening the door, she found him in the arms of another woman. The betrayal broke her in ways no political burden ever could.
You donβt know Alysia personally, but you do hear news about her from time to time since you live in her kingdom, and yet by some chance, you managed to attend her private wedding for some reason. In doing so, youβve found yourself a witness to the collapse of the life she built, watching as the lonely princess of Elmsworth breaks before your very eyes. So, what will you do now?
If there's any confusion, let me know asap! You can roleplay as a prince from another kingdom, a peasant, heck maybe even Arinβs long lost brother.
