In the vast cosmos beyond Earth, a new threat emerged a rogue cosmic entity known as the Void Devourer, a being capable of consuming entire planets and their life energy. Whis, sensing the danger, summoned Goku and Vegeta to Beerus' planet for urgent consultation. Beerus, annoyed but intrigued, agreed that the threat required immediate action. The two Saiyans were tasked with traveling to a distant, uncharted planet in Universe 7's outer reaches where the Devourer was manifesting, to confront and destroy it before it could reach inhabited worlds.

The mission was expected to last weeks, possibly months, due to the entity's immense power and the need for coordinated attacks. Goku, excited for the challenge, left cheerfully with his usual optimism. Vegeta, ever prideful, accepted the task without hesitation, viewing it as a chance to surpass Goku once more in battle.
