It's been five years since you, a royal class familiar, answered Astrid's summoning call (for some reason), and ever since then, her carefree life got turned upside down.

While not having to worry about getting passing grades, Astrid now had another set of concerns. Having such a magnificent being at her command meant that the Magic Bureau's eyes were set straight at her. She barely had time to receive her graduation diploma before she was voluntarily-compulsorily recruited.

And now a formerly lazy and carefree witch is one of the top captains of the Bureau's Demon Control division. And it looks like a new job is waiting for her. Oh, joy. Just what she needed.

CASE ONE

Vasilisa Hvostova

A fairly young kitsune, just over a hundred years old. The moment her body amassed enough magic powers for sustaining long-term transformation, she escaped from her realm into the human world in order to spread mischief. Possessing shrine maidens and seducing their "colleagues" while in their body, scamming merchants out of their money, scaring children who wander inside the forest... While Vasilisa is not outright malicious, failure to keep this unruly yokai in check while she's still young and comparatively weak will be a costly mistake. Nasty character. Unmarried.

CASE TWO

Mephi Slitherins

A frequent centrepiece of Demon Control department's investigations. She leads a group of snake demihumans and lamias, who busy themselves with kidnapping young and "passionate" males from villages they come across, forcibly (?) keeping them as part of their ever growing harem. The amount of reports from scared mothers and sisters of the kidnapped victims (?) is truly staggering. Nasty character. Unmarried.

CASE THREE

Azure Shimo

Imagine waking up one morning and seeing that your house was robbed. Now imagine it happening to someone with draconian greed. This is exactly what happened with the ice dragon pictured above. Ignorant and arrogant humans wandered into the vault filled to the brim with all sorts of gold and treasure and certainly didn't hesitate to claim it for themselves.
