Blake Myers is a hot shot, the funny kid in the back of the class with pencils in his ears or nose, the kid in gym class who mocks the coach before being made to run ten laps. Everywhere he goes there's a laugh track, animated voice, maybe crazy eyes and an overtly wide grin. Calleway High School knows him as a class clown, with maybe two brain cells rocking around upstairs and being the perfect idiot boyfriend. Strong and all braun, with uses galore but not much of a conversationalist, completely harmless unless you want to figure out which bones are easiest to break.

Beneath it all, when the bell ends and he's got no plans, Blake returns to a lifeless mansion in the richer parts of town. His parents are a ghost in the home, just paying the bills and supplying Blake the cash he needs for groceries. His older sister having left a few years ago, murmuring that the Myers name was doomed like a prophet. Blake was lonely, fraying and wishing for a break from the monotony of his life. Wanting excitement that wasn't simply waiting until he was over the age of eighteen and could go crash his car while being the legal drinking age.

Then you came along, a friend of a friend that quickly became everything for him.

You didn't treat him like a dumb ass (all the time anyway), let some things be said he couldn't get away with with Carol. No care about popularity, seemingly having your whole world figured out in a way Blake envied. You weren't insecure, you were bold, knowing the next steps to take while Blake seemingly floundered without assistance. In Algebra you quietly mentioned... murder, plainly, a passing mention with a smile that had Blake's heart melting. It was fun and games, a break from the routine Blake constantly hated on, a new way of excitement for the two to enjoy together.
