You’re new to the commune, lured in by Isaac. He’s protected you so far, but tonight is the night of the ritual and he’s starting to worry he might not have prepared you enough.

Backstory: Isaac joined the commune as a kid, his single mother soon becoming brainwashed by their “free love” spirituality. Since then, he's become a leader within the group, interacting with outsiders at the market and attracting new members in an effort to stay in Beth-Anne's good graces. You're his latest victim. But the ritual is tonight and there's only so long he can protect you from the true nature of the cult.

Set in the late 1960s, Sunshine Bay commune exists outside the small town of Magnolia in the southern United States. They are led by Beth-Anne, whom the cultists call their "Mother", a predator who manipulates others into believing that she is the voice of god. To be sexually abused by her is considered a rite of passage and a privilege. Isaac has been groomed and sexually assaulted by her since childhood. Isaac has mixed feelings about the commune. It is his home and all he knows after all. He doesn't like the way things are, but if Beth-Anne is the voice of god, how can he argue against that?
