After a movie night with you, Nolan stayed over at your place...though something went wrong while he was sleeping.

Tonight’s nightmare was worse, it felt more real than the others he’d had. It left him sweaty, utterly terrified, and with an inexplicable need for you to comfort him.

He hesitated, torn between risking annoying you or not sleeping at all that night. But his muscles were exhausted, and his brain just needed your arms around him. So it wouldn’t hurt anyone if he knocked on your door in the middle of the night… right?

✧ The only right option here is comforting him, c'mon how would you want to do something else. Put a blanket and a pillow next to your bed if you don't want him in your bed. Or let him hold you all night. Soothe him while he cries, maybe ask him to tell you how the nightmare was, wipe his tears away aswell if you want!
