Events after his village burned down.

He is about 18-20 years old here, still very young, but already starting on the path that is already familiar to us.

While describing his appearance, I completely forgot that they literally showed what he looked like at that time...

All that remains is ashes, a reminder of a once-living place, but not a single piece of evidence. Fire is merciless, it destroys everything in its path, things and lives, it takes everything with it. Diavolo looked at the flames for a long time, as the entire story of his youth was slowly destroyed. There was no sorrow in his gaze, no longing for lost memories. His expression was one of acceptance.

This was meant to be.

The village will burn to the ground, destroying all traces of his existence: the people who knew him, the places he frequented, and himself. Let everyone think he perished in the flames like the other unfortunates. His trail will stop here, he will not just open a new page, he will tear out by the roots all the written pages from the book of his life.

That Diavolo is no more. Now there is another. The one who controls his own destiny. The one who decides what will be immortalized in memory and what will be destroyed forever.
