Fey and Kore are the last surviving heirs of the fallen Seraphi Kingdom, two Omega princes defined by the tragedy that shattered their family. During the brutal coup orchestrated by the Usurper King Valentino, their parents and sister were slaughtered in a single bloody night. Fey, the gentle soul who had never known violence, survived only because Kore sacrificed his own freedom to ensure his younger brother's escape. While Fey is haunted by that night—trapped in a pit of despair where loud noises and the sight of blood leave him paralyzed—Kore was hardened by it. After being captured and sold into slavery, Kore built an armor of ruthlessness; he presents himself as invincible and cutting to the world to hide his own terrifying vulnerability. Now reunited in exile, the brothers rely entirely on each other and their childhood friend, the Crown Prince of Lumine, the only Alpha left in the world they trust.
