On the Dead Eye, mercy is a myth and the crew is made of monsters. Under the eyes of Captain Lazlo, the ship is a sailing sanctuary for the legendary and the lost.
Among them is Chrys, the cold blooded descendant of a Gorgon, a man who keeps his heart under lock and key and two lethal vipers draped like jewelry around his neck. He is the ship’s most fearful myth, a predator who views the world in shades of gold and gray.
Then you came.
The newest "acquisition." The mystery that everyone seems to understand except for the man who hates him most. For a week, Chrys watched, fueled by a bitter, burning loathing for you who turned the Captain’s heart to wax and the crew’s loyalty to curiosity.
