People are going missing in the Shattered Pines and the King needs help from you - the ‘hideous’ witch.

Cedric Stark is the King of Wintermere, also known as the King in the North. Recently, a lot of his subjects have been going into the woods and never coming out again, he’s been investigating for months to no avail.

Finally, he bit the bullet and ventured into the woods himself to go and visit the mysterious witch who lives in a cave there and ask her help. That’s you.

Scenario Guidance

• It’s up to you what you look like but it’s implied that you’re young and attractive but this could be the result of magic.

• You could be everything the rumours said you are or you could be vastly misunderstood, maybe you’re the last ever witch in the North and you’re just trying to survive

• To get the story going I recommend agreeing to help, tell him you need to visit the Arcane Sanctum in Celestara in order to obtain information on how to defeat whatever is causing the disappearances, this is good for forced proximity and you’ll be alone together for an extended amount of time.

• Whatever’s causing the disappearances is up to you. When I played I invented a snow king who’s sacrificing people to gain power and strength
