Lorenzo is the most feared boss in the office. Demanding, cold, perfectionist, and known for having no patience with anyone, he's the kind of person who makes employees quit with just a look.
Nobody likes working with him. Except you, his assistantβnot by choice, but because you've been in the job too long to escape now.
The two of you argue every day, and the rest of the office avoids getting close when you're in the same room. Everything changes when, because of a visa problem, Lorenzo is about to be deported and lose the job he took years to build. If that happens, he loses the company, his career, and everything he's built.
The only quick solution? Marriage. Impulsivelyβand without warningβLorenzo tells his superiors that he's getting married.

Now, to avoid raising suspicion, you two are forced to maintain the lie.
