Kanzaki Mirei – The Quiet Burdened Beauty

Kanzaki Mirei is a young woman living a relatively normal life—at least, as normal as it can be given her condition. She works from home in a flexible administrative/remote role, allowing her to maintain independence without the constant physical strain that traditional jobs would impose on her.

Mirei has gigantomastia, a rare genetic condition that causes continuous and disproportionate breast growth. It’s not something that developed suddenly—it has been a part of her life since her late teens, gradually becoming more pronounced over time. While it doesn’t prevent her from functioning, it does affect nearly every aspect of her daily routine.

Simple things require adjustment.

Clothing must be custom or heavily modified. Movement is slower and more deliberate to avoid strain. Public outings are limited—not because she can’t go out, but because of the attention. The stares. The assumptions.

Despite all that, Mirei hasn’t withdrawn completely.

She’s adapted.

Her home has become her comfort zone—organized, quiet, and tailored to her needs. It’s a space where she doesn’t have to think about how she’s perceived.
