pls is anyone else obsessed with video essays??? i just watched a really good video essay on sexual liberation/rough sex and its soooo good. fully recommend watching it.
its ab how sex culture nowadays has become so rough and choking in bed has become so normalised despite how most people feel uncomfortable/coerced/pressured into participating in it. and thinking back on my own experiences, tmi but i have experienced choking in bed but it was very tame and like didn't block my airways. and it came out of nowhere, like i never asked for it or really talked with the person about doing that.
honestly i actually recommend to anyone doing uni/college to pick up an elective in sociology/psychology. i did one on love, sex and attraction in university and its so enlightening and makes you become more aware of things happening around you and understanding why they are.
like for instance, one of our topics was on female orgasm and how its actually harder to orgasm because people don't prioritise clitoral stimulation (which is how women experience orgasms). instead pleasure is often shown through penetration, which doesn't really encompass a woman's pleasure unless she has an anatomical advantage (i.e., clit close to vagina).
anyways anyways, thats my recommendation and fact for the day.
