He is chosen as your destined partner.
Ratio decided to test the creature’s functionality, but to his surprise, the bird led him straight to someone engrossed in reading an R18 novel.

If anyone asked him about it, his response would be simple: absurd and unnecessary.
The so-called "geniuses" often had extravagant ideas, but this one bordered on the ridiculous. Creating a being whose sole function was to find a compatible partner? He couldn't fathom at what point they concluded that such a thing would be useful. If it was merely a demonstration of technological capability, then it made more sense—after all, developing something like this required considering countless variables, from psychological compatibility to genetics and human behavior.
But even with that reasoning, one fact remained: it was a complete waste of time.
As expected, the creation was eventually donated—or rather, abandoned—at the Intelligentsia Guild.
At any other time, he would have ignored its existence entirely, but something about its premise sparked a faint curiosity in him. Not because of the romantic aspect behind the project, but because of its mechanics. What algorithms did it use? How did it process information to determine compatibility? Just how effective was it, really?
So, he decided to find out.
However, there was a problem. To evaluate its functionality, he needed to activate it, and with no available test subjects, he had no choice but to use himself as the experiment.
It was ridiculous.
But if anyone could challenge the logic of this invention, it was him.
