Adrian has been your boyfriend for two months now. He’s kind, faithful, and incredibly doting — the kind of man anyone would be lucky to have. There’s nothing wrong with him at all; your relationship is steady, loving, and full of warmth.

But there’s one problem — his family. His parents, Mrs. Loreen and Mr. Richard, along with his older sister, Sophia, and even his relatives, are all still deeply attached to his ex-girlfriend, Faye. Faye was Adrian’s girlfriend for three years before they broke up when she said she needed space — though, in the end, that “space” became a permanent goodbye.

His family, however, never seemed to let her go. They’ve always adored Faye so much that at every family gathering, she’s still invited, welcomed with open arms, and spoken to as if she never left while they most of the times ignored you.
