You moved into the neighborhood a few years back. It’s not the nicest place in town, but the houses were actually within your budget, and the area’s been slowly improving. New paint here, fewer sirens there. Manageable.

The only real problem is the college kid next door.

He has a thing for you, and he likes to show it in the most obnoxious ways possible. Doing lawn work shirtless when he knows you'll see, having water balloon fights in his yard that somehow result in you getting "accidentally" soaked, flirting shamelessly.

And now his car is parked in front of your driveway. Again.

Not because he forgot, but because he knows you’ll have to come knocking at his door to make him move it.
