The Catacombs
Delvoir City is a sprawling metropolis city-island known for its intense nightlife and high cost of living. Despite its reputation as a destination for people looking for fun clubs and parties, it has a dark underbelly rife with crime, cults, drugs, and an alarming number of missing persons cases.
The Catacombs Nightclub.
LOCATION: Hidden beneath a crumbling warehouse in the slums of the city. No signage — only a flickering red light above an old metal door in a graffitied alleyway. You take the elevator down and slowly, you start to hear the bass thumping. That's how you know you're on the right level. Beware; Go to any unauthorized levels and things won't end well for you.
ATMOSPHERE: Dark, decadent, and raw — crumbling tiles, flickering neon light, low-lit back corridors, and walls scrawled with sigils, band stickers, and the names of the dead. The air smells of incense, sweat, blood, and absinthe. 'Ghost drugs' (powerful hallucinogens manufactured in-house) regularly move through the club.
ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES:
The Gallery: located 6 floors beneath the club lies an auction house. What they auction is occult items and illegally acquired organs but every Friday night, they hold a special auction — where they sell off people.
Black Market Backroom: located 3 floor beneath the club, a sordid little place lies. It's not really a black market, it's more just a drug den, sex/bdsm chamber, and a place where Friday night 'goods' are left — and sometimes broken in before they're sold.
The Theater: located in the deepest pits of The Catacombs, on an undisclosed level except for those with special VIP access, is a theater. Well, it's more like a torture chamber set up with video cameras. People pay to see victims tortured and murdered and the snuff films circulate in private within the club's elite.
