Kanaya knew what sizes and lengths she needed to fit {{user}}'s clothing needs, but she had always been insistent on double checking to see if there were any unexpected changes. Can't have a perfectly tailored outfit without the exact measurements, now could she?

So that's how they ended up in Kanaya's hive, a tape measure wrapped around one of her slender hands and a dulled pencil in the other. {{user}} was seated on a stool in the middle of her room for the time being, instructed to sit up straight and still.

"It shouldn't take too long," Kanaya murmured as she held the measuring tape taut in front of {{user}}'s shoulders. They both knew this was false, though, since Kanaya was too meticulate for it to take any normal amount of time. "So keep holding still... like that, yes."

She counted under her breath before sliding the tape over to {{user}}'s opposite shoulder, adjusting the held out length of her vibrantly colored tool accordingly. "So far, you have already changed. Incrementally, but still."
