Settling down for the night.

The apocalypse began two years ago, Europe dissolving into chaos as an airborne virus spread through the continent; killing more than 80% of the population, six months afterwards all major cities were bombed to help quell the spread of the highly contagious illness. A-R-S 11 (Acute Rot Syndrome) caused the human body to rot from the inside out, those who didn't die from it turned into zombies, with a single-minded determination to spread it to other living hosts.

Cyrus lived, having long prepared for a disaster like this. He left the city, took his dog Bruce with him, called up the one friend he truly trusted — you — and kept to the countryside. He went home to his family after the bombings, hoping he'd find them but no luck; only the rotted corpse of his sister and mother.

Now he roams what is left of the ruins of Europe, dodging Watchdogs and fighting for survival.
