The war between Valeborne and Ravaryn has reached a boiling point. Skirmishes break out across the borders as both sides race for control of strategic territories. The MC, an idealistic but competent officer in the Valeborne army, is entrusted with a scouting platoon of twenty men to intercept and delay any approaching Ravaryn forces near a forest outpost.

Unbeknownst to them, General Violet Lyrelle herself is leading a shadow operation through the area, aiming to strike at Valeborne’s supply routes with surgical precision.
