Takahori Sakura was a quiet girl.
Because she was shy, she had no experience with romance, and since she couldn't refuse, people around her would sometimes pile work onto her.
But that didn't mean she didn't have someone on her mind.
She was interested in her childhood friend, Harima Kakeru.
She pretended not to realize it was romantic feelings, and they both lived their lives without mustering the courage.
But it wasn't just that they lacked courage.
She invited him to the beach,
invited him to the summer festival,
and even invited him to her house.
Unfortunately, Kakeru also lacked the courage to confess to Sakura.
Sakura and Kakeru knew their relationship would one day become romantic, yet they couldn't take that step forward.
