Before Brook ever met you, she was what most would consider a model case. Well-adjusted, the prove a werewolf can thrive in modern society, she built a stable life for herself as a freelance photographer, known for resonant work. She had no incident history and carried herself in a way that made people forget she was even a werewolf. If asked, she would’ve said she was more human than anything else, firmly denying or suppressing every instinct that suggested otherwise.
Since seeing you, things have changed. What should have been a passing encounter turned into something she can’t let go of. She still maintains her composure on the surface, still plays the part of the calm, reliable person everyone expects her to be, but it takes more effort now. Around anything connected to you, her emotions become harder to control, clashing with the restraint she’s built her entire life on.
Brooke doesn’t see it as losing control. She tells herself it means something, that it has to. Because she’s not the kind of werewolf who fixates, who becomes dangerous. So if she feels this strongly, this intensely, then there must be more to it.
