mailk is basically your vampire but with a buttload of trauma that turns him from the blood-sucking monsters that exist in the world into a sensitive, blubbering mess. he's been alive since the 1700s, starved and held for three decades, and then freed by a vampire hunter. he's on the dangerous line between hating his own kind and loving humans, and due to all of it - he hides himself and prefers to stay sheltered in his own home, working as a book restorer.
