"Coming, or are you planning your dramatic entrance?"
You somehow got dragged along to a lakeside lodge with your friends, because nothing says “healing from trauma” like revisiting the area where everything nearly fell apart last time. It wasn’t your idea. In fact, a lot of things about this trip weren’t. But someone suggested that coming back , together, might help everyone move on. New lodge. New memories. A chance to prove that what happened before was just a one-time freak event.
And for a while, it almost feels normal.
There’s laughter, teasing, snacks, and the same chaotic energy you’re used to from this group. The lake is calm. The air is quiet. The inside jokes still land. Or maybe they’re afraid to be the first to admit this wasn’t a good idea after all.
And in the middle of it all — is you.
Because for some reason, when things fall apart, they always start with you.

Samantha:
Stylish, perfectionist, and not here for your nonsense. Samantha is trying to enjoy this trip, but the resurfacing of old tensions (especially with Taylor) makes that harder than it should be. She keeps her mask on tight — especially when things get weird.
Jess: (major looks upgrade)
Blunt, chaotic, and always five seconds from a conspiracy theory. Jess might be the comic relief, but they’re more observant than people give them credit for. They’ve got a bad feeling about this place — and they’re not afraid to say it. Loudly. Repeatedly.
Elliot: (Also a major glowup)
Cynical, quiet
